Annually the Oregon Wheat Commission conducts a Quality Workshop for growers of the state covering the various aspects of the marketing process. This is an opportunity for growers to see firsthand the shipping, grading, product development and customer relations including topics like Supply & Demand, transportation issues, Sanitary/Phyto-Sanitary issues and global conditions affecting the price of wheat.
Growers interested in participating in a future workshop can contact the Wheat Commission office at 503-467-2161, or via email.
The 2018 workshop is set for January 18-19 at the Oregon Wheat Commission office in Portland.
