2022 Tri-State Convention Recap

1 of 13

The 2022 Tri-State Convention was hosted November 29-December 1, 2022 in Coeur d'Alene, WA. In addition to hearing from national, state and local speakers, attendees had the opportunity to participate in the Oregon Wheat Growers League annual meeting, board meeting, gala celebration and foundation auction. During the annual meeting, the membership adopted policy resolutions for 2023, elected officers, and received legislative updates from Senator Hansell, National Association of Wheat Growers, Dalton Advocacy, and Oregonians for Food and Shelter. During the board meeting, the League received updates from the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, Farm Services Agency and Risk Management Agency. During the Gala celebration, attendees enjoyed a lively keynote speech from Darren Padget and celebrated the accomplishments of individuals at the annual awards ceremony. We want to thank our sponsors for the convention and our contributors to the annual foundation auction. Most of all, we want to extend our gratitude to the attendees who strive to learn more and help support wheat producers across Oregon and the Northwest.
