2023 Tri-State Convention Recap

The 2023 Tri-State Convention was hosted November 14-16, 2023 in Coeur d'Alene, ID. In addition to hearing from national, state and local speakers, attendees had the opportunity to participate in the Oregon Wheat Growers League annual meeting, board meeting, gala celebration and foundation auction. During the annual meeting, the membership adopted policy resolutions for 2024, elected officers, and received updates on trade issues and the status of the 2023 Farm Bill from Ambassador Kip Tom. Further legislative updates came from Keira Franz of the National Association of Wheat Growers, Dalton Advocacy, and State Representative Ken Holm. During the board meeting, the League received updates from the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, Farm Services Agency and Risk Management Agency. During the Gala celebration, attendees celebrated the accomplishments of individuals at the annual awards ceremony.
