Wildfire Fuel Break Workshop and Tour for North Central Oregon, 8 am, Wednesday, August 26th, Moro, OR
It has been a long fire season already, but its not too late to start thinking about improving defensible space and creating fuel breaks for this fire season and next year. This training will provide information for farmers and surrounding land managers to make informed decisions on why, how, and where to put fuel breaks on crops and rangelands.
This is a great opportunity to hear directly from other farmers working to mitigate their wildfire risk. This training and field tour is free and includes lunch. Class starts at the OSU Sherman County Extension office in Moro located at 66365 Lonerock Rd, Moro, OR 97039, but participants are welcome to meet along the way during the tour as well.
If you plan on staying for lunch please RSVP to Jacob at jacob.powell@oregonstate.edu, call 541-298-3581 or with this link: https://beav.es/Yk9
