Oregon Annual Meeting: Tuesday

The Annual Membership Meeting of the Oregon Wheat Growers League has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 2:30 pm Mountain/1:30 pm Pacific - 4:00 pm Mountain/ 3 pm Pacific at the Sun Valley Resort in Sun Valley, Idaho (in conjunction with the Grain Growers Convention). We anticipate a remote connection being available to members.

Registration to the conference is not required to attend the annual meeting.

The business meeting will include the election of officers, review of 2024/25 Fiscal Year Audit Report, adoption of policies, introduction of the 2026 Board of Directors, and the traditional presentation of the gavel to the incoming President. Members of the Association in good standing are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Oregon Day Gala Speaker: Wednesday

The Oregon Wheat Growers League welcomes Fred Ziari as the keynote speaker at the Oregon Gala on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at the Grain Convention in Sun Valley, ID. Fred Ziari founded IRZ Consulting, a resource management company that provides irrigation engineering and water resource management to agriculture communities around the world. As a social entrepreneur, Ziari founded Farmers Ending Hunger. As a tech innovator, he developed satellite soil-moisture monitoring and sensor technologies that have resulted in water and electricity savings.

2024 Convention Highlights

Tri-State Grain Convention week provided a full set of governing body meetings, educational seminars, networking and discussion on issues impacting the wheat industry. It was also an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our Oregon Wheat awardees and raise funds for the Oregon Wheat Foundation scholarship program.
